Presence
I have lived with the work “Presença” for many years, but even today it intrigues me. It is one of my first works of the “Mundos Intrincados” series and the original drawing is with me. When I look at her, in my living room, I see how much she emits “Its sounds without sounds” and how restless this presence is. It reminds me of how powerful life is in its present, in its eternal happening, how rich and magical the present is when we are aware of its presence.
In the center, a mouth screams silently. Frozen for so long, she still screams. Scream yes. Then, just after, he decides to shut up and watch. Only when you keep silent, do you observe the great presence that only silence makes present for those who witness it! Its power is there, in, just, being.
Presença
Tenho convivido com a obra “Presença” há muitos anos, porém até hoje ela me intriga.
É um dos meus primeiros trabalhos da série “Mundos Intrincados” e sua origem ainda está aqui, comigo.
Quando olho para ela, em minha sala, vejo o quanto emite “seus sons sem sons” e o quanto esta presença é inquieta. Ela me lembra o quanto a vida é poderosa no seu presente, em seu eterno acontecer, o quanto o presente é rico e mágico quando temos consciência de sua presença.
No centro, uma boca grita calada. Congelada há tanto tempo, mesmo assim ela grita. Grita sim. Depois, só depois, resolve calar-se e observar. Apenas quando se cala, observa a grande presença que somente o silêncio torna presente para quem a presencia!
O poder dela está aí, no, apenas, ser.
Para mim, a grande arte está no todo.
